Unlike a sound bath, acoustic wave therapy uses specialized equipment to deliver controlled mechanical pressure/acoustic energy to targeted tissue.
Because this is fundamentally different from traditional sound healing, MEND intentionally positions Acoustic Wave Therapy within our Sound + Recovery offerings.
Depending on the specific device, clinical indication and practitioner scope, acoustic or pressure-wave treatments may be used within musculoskeletal, rehabilitation, aesthetic or other professional settings.
At MEND, treatment availability, indications, candidacy and protocols are determined by the specific device being used and the appropriately credentialed MEND provider.
